COVID-19 Information

To enable me to reopen Karuna Holistic Therapies safely post-pandemic, I have completed a full risk assessment, along with a certified infection control course and introduced enhanced cleaning and hygiene procedures to my practice. I will be adhering to COVID-19 guidelines produced by the government and my professional association, the Federation of Holistic Therapists (FHT).

There are going to be some changes, so please take the time to read through the guidelines below.

As your therapist, I will always…

• Check I am in good health before you arrive for your treatment
• Wash my hands and use hand sanitiser before your treatment
• Disinfect non-porous materials, eg. my massage couch and equipment
• Wash porous materials, eg. pillow case and towels
• Replace couch roll and other disposable materials
  
• Ventilate the treatment room 
  
• Disinfect surfaces prior to your arrival
  

As a client, prior to your treatment I will ask you to…

• Complete an online consultation form
• Answer some questions specifically about COVID-19
• Contact me and reschedule if you have any symptoms of COVID-19, or if any person in your household is self-isolating
